Chanel’s Fall 2026 Ready to Wear collection in Paris showed creative director Matthieu Blazy deepening his connection to the house’s heritage while bringing a modern clarity to the runway. This season felt like a thoughtful continuation of Blazy’s efforts to honor what Coco Chanel stood for clothes women can live in with ease and stride through their days with confidence. The collection felt grounded, purposeful, and quietly refined in its expression.

Matthieu continues to evolve the modern Chanel woman, with polished yet classic pieces that feel extremely wearable without losing the spirit of Chanel. This collection really captures the working and out-and-about woman of today. The pieces feel already lived in and styled, whereas previous collections often had looks that felt stiff and less wearable. Here, Matthieu captures a woman who can wear Chanel pieces in real life today.

In this collection, we saw the spirit of Chanel in drop-waist skirts and dresses, with colors carefully curated, pops of red, yellow, and blue balanced by base colors of black and grey. Mixed patterns appeared throughout, giving some looks a sense of being already lived in, adding texture, life, and practicality to the runway presentation.

Fall 2026 revealed Blazy’s continued confidence in shaping Chanel for contemporary wearers, extending the house’s signature elegance in ways that feel thoughtful, modern, and confident.
