Paris Fashion Week is almost here. Here's everything to know before the Spring/Summer 2027 shows begin.
The countdown to Paris Fashion Week Spring/Summer 2027 is officially on. Running from September 28 to October 6, the season will bring together 68 runway shows and 33 presentations, closing out fashion month with one of the most anticipated calendars of the year. While there are slightly fewer shows than last season, there's certainly no shortage of excitement. Between major creative debuts, the return of beloved fashion houses, and a handful of notable absences, Paris is shaping up to deliver plenty of memorable moments.
One of the biggest stories this season is the arrival of Drew Henry at Courrèges, where he'll unveil his first collection for the French house on September 30. The following day, Kai Nesselrath makes his own highly anticipated debut at Carven, adding even more anticipation to a week already filled with fresh creative energy. These first collections are always among the most talked-about moments of Fashion Month, offering a glimpse into where each house is headed next.
There are also several welcome returns to the official Paris calendar. Valentino, Maison Margiela, and Sacai are all back after sitting out previous ready-to-wear seasons, while South African luxury label Maxhosa Africa joins the official runway schedule for the very first time. On the presentation side, Alexandra Golovanoff and LVMH Prize semi-finalist Fidan Novruzova will also make their Paris Fashion Week debuts, bringing even more fresh talent to this season's lineup.
Of course, Paris wouldn't be Paris without its legendary fashion houses. Dior, Chanel, Saint Laurent, Louis Vuitton, Hermès, Balenciaga, Miu Miu, Chloé, Rick Owens, Victoria Beckham, Dries Van Noten, The Row, Loewe, Acne Studios, Isabel Marant, and dozens more are all set to present their Spring/Summer 2027 collections, making the French capital the final and arguably most influential stop of fashion month.
Not every familiar name will be present this season, however. McQueen returns to the London Fashion Week calendar under Seán McGirr, Rabanne continues to hold off on Olivier Rousteing's debut until March 2027, while Nina Ricci and Off-White are also absent from the official schedule. Meanwhile, following Pieter Mulier's departure, Alaïa will present a studio-designed collection in presentation format rather than staging its usual runway show.
