Jonathan Anderson continues to build a new language for Dior with his Fall 2026 Couture collection, one that feels rooted in the house's heritage while confidently pushing it forward. If his earlier collections introduced his vision, this season feels like he's settling into it. Rather than relying on traditional couture drama, Anderson focuses on shape, movement, and the beauty of construction, proving that couture can feel both artistic and remarkably wearable.

The collection takes inspiration from the work of American sculptor Lynda Benglis, and that influence is immediately visible in the way fabrics are folded, pleated, and molded into sculptural forms. The iconic Bar jacket is softened through fluid draping instead of rigid tailoring, while fan shaped details appear throughout the collection, transforming flat fabrics into architectural silhouettes. Every look feels carefully considered, balancing precision with an unexpected sense of lightness.

One of the things that stood out most was Anderson's use of texture. Metallic surfaces, feather-like embroidery, iridescent embellishments, and layered pleats created garments that constantly changed as the models moved. The collection also introduced a refreshing palette of soft powder blues, pale pinks, buttery yellows, and fresh greens, a lighter direction that feels new for Dior while beautifully complementing the sculptural silhouettes. These softer tones brought a sense of optimism without taking away from the collection's strength.

What makes this collection so compelling is that it never feels like couture created simply to impress. Every look has purpose, and every detail contributes to a larger story about craftsmanship, art, and modern femininity. Anderson continues to prove that couture can feel imaginative without becoming overwhelming, delivering one of Dior's most thoughtful collections in recent seasons.

Among all the looks, below are the ones that stood out as our favorites, best capturing the sculptural beauty and quiet confidence of the collection.
