Magda Butrym's Resort 2027 collection feels like a confident evolution of everything the designer does best. Romantic yet strong, polished yet slightly undone, the season continues to explore her signature vision of femininity while introducing pieces that feel more wearable for everyday life. As Butrym herself explained, this collection is about continuing her story through classic shapes, new materials, and a fresh attitude, making it one of her most versatile lineups to date.
Inspired by the 1996 Polish film Szamanka, the collection carries an effortless sensuality throughout. Structured leather jackets return in new forms, including a beautifully draped wrap style in heather gray wool, while sculptural knitwear, sharp tailoring, and softly defined hourglass silhouettes bring strength without feeling overly formal. Faux mink trims, pearls, and peplum jackets add richness and texture, giving familiar Magda Butrym codes a fresh perspective.
One of the most enjoyable parts of the collection is the contrast between polished tailoring and softer, handcrafted details. Crochet appears in bolder ways this season, transforming into knee length skirts and delicate capelets that feel just as natural over denim as they do with eveningwear. Elsewhere, a 1960s inspired floral housedress is reimagined through a modern lens, while shimmering gold lamé tailoring, bubblegum pink jacquard, and sculptural bustier dresses introduce playful moments without ever feeling disconnected from the rest of the lineup.
What makes Resort 2027 especially compelling is how effortlessly the collection moves between everyday dressing and occasion wear. Office ready tailoring, luxurious leather, silk slips, and statement evening pieces all feel part of the same story, proving that sensuality and practicality can exist side by side.
Among all the looks, below are the ones that stood out as our favorites, best capturing the confident, romantic spirit of the collection.
