Literary Sport’s new FW25 collection blends clean, structured design with purposeful performance, creating refined pieces made for movement For The Upcoming seasons.
Literary Sport’s third season arrives with the crisp clarity of autumn air, bringing a Fall/Winter collection that feels equally at home on the track, on city streets, or on a quiet morning walk. At its core is a sense of balance, the point where refinement meets functionality, and where movement is elevated into something almost artful.
This season introduces clean, structured silhouettes that make a statement without noise. Outerwear takes a leading role, from a waterproof garment designed for all-weather readiness to a running cardigan created to move fluidly with the body. Asymmetrical design details appear like small architectural flourishes, rewarding a closer look. The palette is grounded in neutrals, with threads of rich burgundy woven throughout, adding depth and warmth to the season’s story.
The campaign imagery was captured at the historic Dr. Richard Davis House in Indiana, a Frank Lloyd Wright–designed masterpiece known as “Woodside.” The setting feels deliberate, a space where design, function, and beauty exist in quiet conversation. Wright’s belief that “Form follows function—that has been misunderstood. Form and function should be one, joined in a spiritual union” resonates here, not as a borrowed idea, but as a lived principle in the collection’s design.
Behind Literary Sport are founders and avid runners M. Bechara and Deirdre Matthews, whose personal connection to movement informs the brand’s ethos. Working with designer Jackie McKeown and co-creative director Fran Miller, they approach performance wear with the same care and consideration as one might approach tailoring a fine suit. Every seam is placed with intention, every fabric chosen for its ability to support both the body and the moment.
What sets Literary Sport apart is its refusal to compromise. Technical garments are rarely this refined, and refined garments are rarely this technically capable. Here, they are one and the same. The collection is not just about dressing for sport, but about dressing for a way of moving through the world, whether that means running at dawn, walking through the city in the rain, or finding stillness between bursts of motion.
FW25 is available in both women’s and men’s styles, each piece offering the promise of movement without sacrificing style. It is performance wear for those who see style and substance not as opposing forces, but as partners in motion.
