Underpainting is a method Mary learned from the legendary Kevyn Aucoin’s Making Faces that involves applying contour, concealer, and highlighter beneath foundation to create a soft, sculpted look that appears natural and luminous. Thanks to her popular TikTok tutorials, this technique has inspired a new wave of makeup enthusiasts eager to master a professional finish from home.
The heart of the collection is the Underpainting Face Palette ($64 USD) and available in three shades. It includes two contours, two highlighters, and a color corrector.
